Marietta City Schools โSuperintendent mary Schaeffer is launching a new community engagementโค initiative, Coffee โข& Conversation,
begining September 30th.The monthly โmeetings aim to foster directโ dialog between school leadership and the Marietta community.
The initiative responds to a growing need for transparent interaction and collaborative problem-solving within the school district. The inaugural โ Coffee &โ Conversation
will take place from โ9:00 to 10:30 a.m. โคon September 30thโ at โjeremiah’s Coffee House. Subsequent meetings will alternate between Jeremiah’sโ Coffee House โฃand Stoked Coffee, bothโฃ located in Marietta, continuingโ on the last Tuesday of each month.
Schaeffer,โ recently appointed as superintendent, emphasized theโ importance of listening to the community. I believe in listening and learning from those we serve and these monthly gatherings will be an opportunity to here directly from the communityโค and collaborate toโ make MCSD the best โฃit โขcanโค be,
she stated in a press release.
Communications Coordinatorโข Christian Hudspeth explained that Schaeffer is committed to both understanding the community’sโข needs and supporting local businesses. She wants to give the community an opportunityโฃ to have casual andโ open dialogue with the school staff,
Hudspeth said. Everyone has a voice and she wants to make sure people have the chance to have their voice heard.
