SNAP Quebec Seeks Eventsโ Coordinator to Drive โคEnvironmental Mobilization
Montreal, QC – SNAP Quebec, a โฃleading environmental non-profit, isโ activelyโค recruiting an โEvents Coordinator to manage and execute its mobilization and awarenessโค initiatives. The full-time, two-year position, based in Montreal’s Plateau district, offers a salary range of $57,000 to $72,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The request deadline is November 21,โ 2025,โข with a start date anticipated in February 2026.
The Events Coordinator will report to the General director and work closely with the Director of Communications, taking full obligation for the logisticalโข and operational aspects of SNAP Quebec’s โคevents. Key responsibilities include project and event coordination โ- encompassing growth, communication, and logistics – alongside grant writing, partner outreach, and support โfor fundraising campaigns.
Candidates must possess aโข second-cycle university degree in marketing, communication, or events, coupled โwith three to five years of direct experience in event โคorganization or mobilization. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is theโค ability to manage multiple complex projects and adapt to unexpected challenges.Fluency in French (written and โspoken) is required,with a functional level of English also necessary. Proficiency in โขMicrosoft Office and Adobe suites (Photoshop, InDesign) isโ also โฃexpected.
While not required,โข familiarity with the environmental sector, experience in a non-profit context, and expertiseโ in socialโ media platforms (Meta Business Suite, youtube Studio, Bluesky, LinkedIn) and audiovisual production are considered advantages.
