Reyes stated, “I got to play American football in the United States. I feel very proud to have represented an entire country in the NFL and not having failed them, I gave the best I had within my pond and I can die calmly.” He acknowledged uncertainty regarding the context of Bravo’s original statement, adding, “I don’t no if he was taken out of context or really what his intentions were, but I think it’s hard to measure things.” He illustrated his point with an analogy from chilean football, noting the availability of multiple teams for players.
