CHS โStudents shatter Donation Records for Annualโข Fundraiser
COLUMBUS, OHโ – Students atโ Columbus High School concluded their โขannualโ community fundraiser on October 13, 2025, achieving aโข record-breaking totalโ of $15,782 – a 22% increaseโ over last year’s contributions.โ The funds will directly benefit theโ school’s athletic programs, arts โinitiatives, and academic enrichment โopportunities.
This year’s โsuccessโ marks a โฃimportant milestone forโฃ CHS, demonstrating a renewed commitment to community engagementโ and philanthropic โขefforts among the student body. โThe annual โฃfundraiser, a tradition spanningโค over three decades, provides crucial financial support for programs ofen impacted by budgetary constraints. The increased donations willโข allow for โฃthe purchase ofโ new equipment for the football team,โข expandedโฃ art supplies for the visual arts department, and additional resources for the school’sโข debate club.
Theโข fundraising drive, wich ran โfrom โขSeptember 29โ to October โ13, featured a varietyโค ofโฃ activities includingโ a school-wide car wash,โ a bakeโข sale, and a peer-to-peer donation campaign. โSenior โขclass president, โฃEmily Carter, spearheaded the effort, mobilizing students and coordinating volunteer schedules. “We โreally wanted to push โourselves this year and โขshow the community what CHS is capable of,” carterโ stated.โ “The students were incredibly enthusiastic,and their hard work truly paid off.”
