Trump Reveals Charlie Kirk‘s Last Expressed Desire at Memorial Service
Glendale, Arizona – September 10, 2025 – Former President Donald Trump shared details of a final conversation wiht conservative activist Charlie Kirk during a memorial service held at State Farm Stadium today. The event, attended by tens of thousands of supporters, honored Kirk following his recent passing.
The stadium was filled with conservative political media, VIPs, Turning Point staff and alumni, and members of the press. Trump received cheers upon entering the venue, and was seen shaking hands with Elon Musk at his booth in a display of unity.The President also ordered White House flags to be flown at half-mast in Kirk’s honor.
During his speech, Trump revealed Kirk’s last expressed wish, stating he believed Kirk wanted to see continued efforts to engage young voters. “He was focused on one thing, and that was getting the young people involved,” Trump said, recalling their conversations. “He wanted to build a movement that would last.”
Kirk, known for his work registering college conservatives to vote, played a meaningful role in Trump’s 2024 campaign, helping secure 43% of the vote among 18-29 year olds. Trump further remarked in media interviews that he believed Kirk possessed the potential to succeed him as president.
Following his speech, Trump invited Erika Kirk, the activist’s widow, to join him on stage.Erika Kirk will assume leadership of Turning Point USA as the institution’s new CEO, continuing her husband’s legacy. Trump lauded Kirk’s dedication to promoting ”freedom and justice” across the nation.
