Kim Kardashian Says Kanye West Stopping Medication,Claiming Autism Was ‘Final Straw’ in Marriage
LOS ANGELES – Kim Kardashian revealed that kanye West’s decision to stop taking his prescribed medication and subsequent claim of autism were pivotal factors in the breakdown of their marriage,according to a new documentary series. The revelation comes as previously unseen footage surfaces detailing escalating tensions and confrontations during the couple’s final years together.
Kardashian and West, who married in 2014 and share four children – North, 12, Saint, 9, chicago, 7, and Psalm, 6 - publicly struggled wiht West’s mental health before Kardashian filed for divorce in 2022. The documentary footage shows a particularly fraught exchange were West accused Kardashian’s family of “demasculating” him through medication, stating, “Y’all demasculated me and made me feel like a piece of s-t… And the only reason you got away with it is because I was medicated.”
The reality star reportedly reached a breaking point when West ceased taking his medication and later asserted he was autistic, despite a prior diagnosis of bipolar disorder. According to a Page Six report, Bianca Censori, West’s current wife, reportedly assisted him in pursuing the autism diagnosis after doubting his bipolar diagnosis.
Footage also depicts West screaming at Kris Jenner, Kardashian’s mother, as she pleaded with him to resume his medication. “it does matter!” West repeatedly yelled, interrupting Jenner as she attempted to explain the importance of their internal perspectives over online commentary. “It matters to us and you. It doesn’t matter what the internet says.It matters what we think,ye,” Jenner clarified.
West was initially diagnosed with bipolar disorder,but later publicly claimed he was autistic. Following the divorce, West married censori, a designer for his Yeezy brand, in a private ceremony in 2023.
