China Displays โคAdvanced Militaryโค technology in Beijing Parade
BEIJING โค- China showcased a range of new weaponry, including uncrewed drones and advanced โฃmissile systems, during a recent military parade in Beijing, signaling a important leap in its โmilitary capabilities and technological advancement.
Analysts say the display was intended to demonstrate both china’s technological prowess and โฃthe extentโค of its military arsenal. “It demonstrates an advancedโฃ capability,” said defence analyst ms. Parker. “It’s about showing a technologically advanced military and this โsecond message of ‘by theโฃ way,โ you don’t โขnecessarily know what we have.'”
The parade highlighted advancements in information andโ electronic warfare,areasโข where theโ peopel’s Liberation Army (PLA) is expected to โขgain โa significant advantage,according to UNSWโ China expert Guangyi โคPan. “Undoubtedly, โขthe โgreatest enhancementโข is inโ information warfare and electronic warfare,” Pan told โฃthe ABC.โฃ He furtherโ noted โฃthe rapid advancement ofโค these weapons demonstrates “China’sโข leading position in both technological advancement (quality) and industrial manufacturingโ scale (quantity).”
Edwardโข Chan, from โฃthe Australian Nationalโ University’s College of Asia & the Pacific, stated the broad spectrum โฃof new assets โค- includingโฃ satellites, missile systems, and drones – reflectsโ aโ decade of military modernization.
“They โคreflect greater preparedness for potential conflicts in the Western โขPacific,” Dr.Chan said.
