In a move towards resolution, Mr.Zuhdi has refused the return of a Rp 12.5 million fine previously issued to a Madin teacher, identified as SM, in Demak. The fine was reportedly levied after SM’s student, referred to as D, allegedly threw sandals at Zuhdi. Zuhdi has stated that the money, already disbursed, is a sincere gesture and not to be returned, indicating he has forgiven the incident without requiring an apology.
The situation was further addressed by Sutopo, who identified himself as the uncle of student D. Sutopo conveyed SM’s apologies to Zuhdi for any missteps or wrong words, expressing a desire for improved future interactions and learning. He also reiterated the family’s intention to return the Rp 12.5 million received from Zuhdi.
The reconciliation was marked by a handshake between student D, SM, and Zuhdi, signaling a potential end to the dispute. This incident highlights the complexities of interpersonal conflicts and the role of financial gestures in their resolution.
