Local Students Celebrate Summer Graduates
STEUBENVILLE, OH – Area students recently completed their academic journeys, earning degrees from State University and the University of Maryland Global Campus during the Summerโ 2025 term. The achievements highlight the growingโข accessibility of higher โคeducation and the dedication of local residents โpursuing โขadvanced learning opportunities.

State University recognized several local graduates, including jeffrey Ferl of Carrollton, who earned both an associate of artsโข degree in applied technical studies and a bachelor of arts degree in arts and sciences.โ Kimberly Wilson of Hammondsville received a bachelor of science degree in nursing, while abraham Zane of Mingo Junction completed an associate โขof arts degree inโฃ applied technical studies.
Further โafield, Patrick J. Scott of Steubenville earned an associate of arts degree from the University โฃof Maryland Global campus, joining a cohort of โ3,800โค students worldwide who completed their degrees this summer.
