Omoda to Launch C4โ Compact SUV in South Africa in Late 2026
Johannesburg – Omoda will โขbolster its South Africanโ lineup โฃwith the introduction of the new C4 compact crossover in the second half of 2026. the C4,previously known as theโ C3,will join the Omoda C5 and C9 models in the brand’s local portfolio.
Unveiled globally in October, โthe C4 showcases Omoda’sโ “Cyber Mecha” โฃdesign โฃlanguage, described by โthe company โคas a “bold fusion โof futuristic aesthetics and mechanical precision.”
While detailedโฃ specifications are still forthcoming, โOmoda confirmedโค South Africanโ models will be available with both internalโ combustion โขengine and hybrid powertrain options, allowing customers aโฃ phased transition to electricโ vehicles.
Pricing has not yet been revealed, but the C4 is anticipated to be more affordable than the C5, which currently rangesโ from R329,900โฃ to R465,900. Omoda expects toโ offer aโ comparable level of standard features,โ including a large touchscreenโ infotainment system,โ digital instrument cluster, intelligent voice control, wireless โcharging, ambient lighting, dual-zone climateโ control, and a Sony audio system.
