San Antonio‘s Diningโค Scene โExpands โwithโค Six New Restaurants Slated for Late 2025 & 2026
San Antonio foodies have muchโฃ to anticipate as a wave of new restaurants-fromโ established chains toโ chef-driven concepts-are set โto debut across the city โคin the coming months โand years. These additions promise a diverse range of culinary experiences,โฃ bolstering the โAlamo City’s โalready vibrant dining landscape.
Firstโค to arrive โthis fall is Sixty Vines, a Dallas-based chain specializing in draught winesโฃ and โwine country-inspiredโ cuisine. The restaurant will open at 15900 La โฃCantera โPkwy, marking its firstโ location in San Antonio.
Further out, earlyโฃ 2026 willโข see the launchโค of Southtownโ Food Hall, โคa collaborative project from celebrity chef Johnny Hernandez. Combining hisโฃ concepts โBurgerteca, The Fruteria, and Southtown Coffee, the hall will be located in a former โwarehouse โat 1725 S. Alamo St. โคand will feature a full bar, indoor and outdoor โseating, live music, and shopping.
Pizza lovers will have โฃa new destination on the Farโฃ North Side as Stout’s,โค a localโ brick-oven pizzaโ joint,โ prepares to open a โคnew location at 21114โข US Hwy. โ281 โขwithinโ the Encino Commons progress, with an estimated openingโ at โthe end of 2025.Along โคtheโ River Walk, the owners of Casa Rio andโฃ Schilo’sโข are developing The Night Heron,โ a new rooftop โฃconcept expectedโ toโ open byโฃ the โend of 2026.
Two highly anticipated,yetโ currently unnamed,restaurants โare also in the works. Lauded chef Andrew Weissman,known โfor Mr. โคJuicy,โค is returning toโข his French roots with a new restaurant inโ the former Hayden spot at 10003 NW Military Hwy. #2115, targeting a November opening. Meanwhile, chef Michaelโข Sohocki of โคKimura is transforming the former Tucker’s Kozy Korner into a new Italian concept, distinct from a second Il Forno location, though โฃhe jokingly notes that โค”‘opening dates’ โare an open joke.”
