Princesses beatrice โฃand Eugenie to Retain Titlesโค as Prince Andrew Faces stripping ofโ Honors
Despite โongoing scrutiny surrounding their father, Prince Andrew, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will retainโ their royal titles. The moveโ comes as Kingโ Charles III initiates the formal process of removingโข Princeโ Andrew’s titles andโข honorsโ following years of controversy and his association with โขconvicted โฃsex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Both princesses have largely โคrefrained fromโ public โcomment regarding the allegations against their father,continuing with their individual lives andโ charitable work. Prince Andrew, who has lost his โprincelyโ title, will also โbe required โto vacate the โRoyal Lodge on the Windsor estate.
Beatrice, ninth in lineโข to the โthrone,โ currently serves as โคanโฃ advisor to the โฃartificial intelligence software company Afiniti and is a co-founder โof The Big Change Charitable โTrust. She holds patronage roles with organizations including the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice,the Teenage โCancerโค Trust,and the Helen โArkell Dyslexia Charity.
Eugenie, twelfth โขin line toโฃ theโข throne, is a patron of several charities, including โthe Elephant Family, the Teenage cancer Trust, and theโข European School of Osteopathy, and โฃco-founded the Anti-Slavery Collective. This year, she became a mentor for The King’s Foundation’s 35 under 35 network and is โคcurrently a director at the โฃHauser & Wirth contemporary art gallery inโข London.
Both princessesโ are โmarried with children. โฃBeatrice wed real estate tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2020, while Eugenie married wine merchant Jackโ Brooksbank โin October 2018. Notably,โ neither โof their husbandsโ receivedโ a peerage upon marriage.
