Thomas and โhis fiancรฉ discovered โคthe damage while walking their โdog, โฃfindingโ glass scattered across theโ block of West 32ndโฃ and Detroit Avenue. He thenโค discovered his own vehicle had been targeted.
“Everything was on theโ seat, and everything is covered inโ glass,” Thomas stated. “Nothing is missing. The โgloveโ compartmentโ is opened up in โthe center console.”
shane Kelly’s car was also โbroken โคinto, marking the second time in just two weeksโฃ he’s โbeen a victim. “It โis indeed frustrating.I know โa โlot of people around here to whom thisโ has happened,” Kelly said. Each window replacement costs approximately $1,500, and includes the cost of repainting chipped areas causedโ by the broken glass.
Cleveland Police โare actively investigating the break-ins, reviewing video footage and interviewing witnesses. Sergeant Freddy Diaz stated, “We have been working very hard around the clock to resolveโ this as quickly as possible.”

Cleveland Police are urging anyone who โhas experiencedโข a car break-in to fileโ aโ report, as increased reporting helps them pinpoint areas with โthe highest concentration of incidents.
