Adam โฃHarrison, 22,โฃ of Winthrop,โ was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after a large group โคof bikers disrupted โtraffic in Boston โover the weekend. The group,consisting of over 100 bicycles,dirt bikes,and motorized scooters,rodeโ on highways and through tunnels,performing stuntsโ and ignoring โคtrafficโ laws.
Onโ Saturday, Massachusetts Stateโ Police receivedโ reports of โฃthe group โentering the O’Neill Tunnel onโข Interstate 93 south. They briefly exited at โExit 17 but quickly returnedโฃ to the highway. A collision occurred โwhenโ one โคof the dirt โฃbikes “brakeโ checked” a state police cruiser near โคD and Summer streets, causing โขthe trooperโ to strike the biker. Harrison was identified as one of the bicyclists who โhad been obstructing traffic on Seaport Blvd.Witnesses described theโฃ scene as chaotic, with bikers riding without helmets and weaving โคthrough traffic. Michael Filandro said he โwasโ surrounded by “a whole wagonโ trainโ of them,” โคwhile Marcus Lancaster described the โฃgroup as โ”scary”โค and said they “just came ripping through on dirt bikes.”
Harrison pleaded โnot guilty and was released on personal โฃrecognizance dueโค to theโฃ ongoing attorney โฃwork stoppage.He is scheduled to return to court on โคSeptember 30th.
