FOR IMMEDIATEโฃ RELEASE: Rรญo negro’s Literary Voices toโ Shine at 15th Viedma Book Fair
Viedma, Rรญo Negro – [Date of Release] – The 15th Viedma Book Fair kicks off thisโ weekend atโข the Municipalโ Culture Center, promising a vibrant โcelebration of literatureโ and the arts. organized by the โคMunicipality of Viedma, โthe fair will host over 30 book presentations alongsideโ numerous publishers offering exhibitionโ spaces andโค sales.
The Rionegrino Editorialโ Fund โ(FER) will be a key presence throughout the event, with a dedicated book stand openโค Friday from 9 a.m.โข to 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 2โข p.m. to 10 p.m.,and Sunday from 3 p.m. toโ 9 p.m.
Highlights of the FER’s participation includeโ a Saturday afternoon presentation of Barrio 140,a poetry collection by Carinaโ Nosenzo.selected through the 2024 Call, nosenzo’s work wasโ praised by the jury โขfor its “powerful images, โฃvariedโ sensations, andโค a rhythmโข that, out loud, leads to a strong, performativeโค musicalityโ with content of social commitment.” Nosenzo will be โฃjoined by Dafne Pidemunt, author of the book’s prologue, at the 4 p.m. event inโค the Cultural Center’s Piano room.
Sunday will see the launch of theโฃ LGBTIQNBA+ Rรญo Negro Literary Anthology at 4 p.m. in the Sala mayor. Thisโ project, a collaboration between the FER and CURZAS,โค showcases โขthe writing of 24 authors representing theโ province’s diverse communities, selected through a contest earlier thisโ year. The โanthology’s cover and back cover art were created by Isa Maureira.
Beyond โขbook โlaunches, the fair will feature theatrical performances, musical shows, over โten workshops, conferences, โstorytelling for families and schools, and an artistic installation titled “Hadas Bimbulli, Crisรกlida y Semilla” by visual artist Haditaโ Mercado.
