Chichester โCity footballer Billy Vigar has died at the age of 21 after sustaining a important brain injury during aโข recent match. The promising young player passed away surrounded by โfamily, the club confirmed, โฃprompting an outpouring of grief from the footballโข community.
Vigar’s death marks a tragic loss for the Isthmian league club, โคto whichโฃ he recently โขjoined, and underscores the inherent risks faced by athletes. His next scheduled game against Lewes has been โขpostponed as a โmark of respect, and a minute โฃof silence will be observed before all Isthmian โLeagueโข matches, with players wearing black armbands.
