COLUMBUS, OH – โคA newborn elephantโฃ at theโ Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is quickly becoming a fan favourite, and recentโ video footage of the calf’s sleepy โฃmoments is capturing hearts online. The baby elephant, whose name โhasโ not been publicly released, is exhibiting typical infant behaviors – seeking comfort from her motherโข and enjoying โfrequent naps.
The zoo shared โa video showcasing โขthe calf’s naptime routine, which โincludes snuggling close to her โparent and being gently covered with hay for warmth and protection. Like human babies, the elephant isโ easilyโ disturbed when sleeping and was observed letting out a precious yawn at the end of the video.
