The International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) commenced its February 2026 Orientation Week on January 26th, welcoming new students with a series of activities and social events designed to integrate them into the college community.
ICMS, established in 1996, operates campuses in Manly, a coastal suburb of Sydney, and within Sydney’s central business district. The college focuses on career-focused education, offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees recognized alongside those of Australia’s public universities. Programs span Business, Accounting, Event Management, Hospitality Management, International Tourism, Property, Sports Management, Fashion and Global Brand Management, and Information Technology.
A key feature of ICMS’s curriculum is the inclusion of two mandatory study periods – a minimum of 600 hours – of professional placements. These placements aim to provide students with practical industry experience and networking opportunities. The college similarly facilitates Study Abroad programs and offers diplomas and English language proficiency courses through its Aspire Institute.
The Manly campus, situated near the renowned Manly Beach, and the City campus, located in the heart of Sydney’s business district, offer distinct learning environments. ICMS emphasizes small class sizes, expert instruction, mentorship, and industry insights, fostering a diverse student body with representation from over 40 countries.
According to ICMS, the Northern Beaches Campus is located at 151 Darley Road, Manly, New South Wales, 2095, while the City Campus is at Level 4, 451 Pitt Street, Sydney, New South Wales, 2000. Online courses are also available, with administrative offices at the Manly address.
ICMS was among the first six private universities to be included in the Universities Admissions Centre application process in 2012. In 2018, the college was ranked first in graduate employability within the event management and hospitality management sectors among Australian colleges. The primary ICMS campus is located on St Patrick’s Estate, within a building formerly used as a seminary, known locally as “Manly Castle.” This building also served as a filming location for exterior shots of Jay Gatsby’s mansion in the 2013 film adaptation of The Great Gatsby.
The college confirms that FEE-HELP, an Australian government loan scheme, is available to eligible students who are Australian citizens.
