Rams Dominate Titans,Showcase Emergingโค Stars and โAreas for Improvement
INGLEWOOD,Calif. – Teh โLos Angeles Rams delivered a commanding performance in Week 2, defeating the Tennessee Titans and highlighting both standout โplayers and areas needing refinement. Theโข Rams’ defense proved disruptive, โขwhile key additions to the offense began to flourish.
STUD: LB Byron Young
Byron Young continued his extraordinaryโ startโ to โขthe season, anchoring the Rams’ defensiveโ front. He finished the day with five tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble that set up Los Angeles on a short field, allowing them to take a two-score lead.
Kobie Turner, Josiah Stewart, and โขKam Curl all contributed with sacksโข as well.
DUD: WR Tutu Atwell
Atwell struggled to make an impact in the Rams’ offense, finishing without a catch on one target. Quietโ days areโค likely for the 2021 second-round pick unless โDavante Adams and Puka Nacua are limited.
STUD: QB Matthew Stafford
Stafford built upon โขa solid Week 1 with an even stronger performance, completing 69.7% of his passes for 298 โyards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Despite a poor decision โleading to an interception late in the first half, Stafford moved up to seventh โคon the Rams’ all-time passing touchdown โคlist.
DUD: DL Poona Ford
Ford had a โขquiet outing, recording just one tackle that wasn’t for a loss.โฃ The Rams’ front seven โขalso โallowed Tony Pollard to rush for 92 yards on 4.6 yards per attempt, a potential concern if the game had beenโฃ closer.
STUD: WR Davante adams
Adams made a significant impact in his second game as a Ram, finishing with six receptions for 106 yards and โฃa touchdown. While Stafford and Adamsโ were unable to connect on โseven targets, their developing chemistry is promising.
