Ashley Addiction Treatment Secures $17 Million for Research Expansion & Enhanced Family Support
HAVRE DE GRACE, MD – August 29, 2024 -โฃ Ashleyโข Addiction Treatment, a โMaryland-basedโข nonprofit substance use disorderโฃ (SUD) treatment provider, has raised $17 million โฃas part of a $20 million capital campaign dedicated to bolstering research initiatives and expanding its programming, the organization announced today.
The campaign willโค focus on four โคkey areas: construction of โa new research facility, renovations and upgrades to existing facilities, expansionโข of family programs, and the provision โขof treatment scholarships. Central to the effort is the forthcoming Namvary Research Building,which will houseโ a dedicated teamโข focused on translating research findings into evidence-based clinical protocols.

Ashley’s commitment to innovation extends beyond the โnew research facility.โฃ In โค2023, the organization launched a research program in partnership with wearable technology company WHOOP, exploring the potential of wearable devices in addiction medicine.More recently, in 2024, Ashley expanded its reach with theโฃ launch of virtual mental health services available to all Maryland residents, irrespective of SUD diagnosis.
