O’Hara said Raya was just better in terms of build up than Ramsdale. Meanwhile, Ramsdale’s ability to repel opponents’ attacks is very solid, as shown last season.

“The following season, he signed David Raya who, in my opinion, was no better than Ramsdale. His distribution was maybe a little better, but he wasn’t good at receiving crosses and he got a lot of shots all the time,” said O’Hara as quoted by the Standard .

“I don’t see how he’s a better goalkeeper than Ramsdale and I can’t see how Arteta got it right. He’s actually created a huge problem for himself – he’s now annoyed Ramsdale, who has to pretend on camera that he was happy he had been replaced,” he explained.
