Dubai – flydubai has announced a strategic partnershipโ with Boeing to deliverโข comprehensive training programs for its pilots andโข maintenance personnel.The agreements, unveiled ahead of the Dubai Airshow 2025, willโข focus โon junior pilots, those in initial evaluation, and flydubai’s skilled maintenanceโ teams.
The core of the partnership lies in Boeing’s Competency-Based Trainingโ and โขAssessment (CBTA) program. This approach prioritizes demonstrable skills and utilizes data-driven scenarios to improve training effectiveness. Boeing will alsoโค provide consulting services to assist โflydubai in implementing these programs.

flydubai currently employs over 6,700 people, including 1,400 pilots andโ 640 engineers, operating a fleet of 96โข Boeing 737 aircraft.โ this investment in trainingโฃ builds on flydubai’s recent opening of its dedicated flight training center and the launch of its basic pilot training program,demonstrating a strong commitment toโ developing its workforce.
