Cali, Colombia – August 25, 2025 – Cali Mayor Alejandro Eder has publicly stated, “They do not intimidate me,” in response to a reported plot to assassinate him following a terrorist attack on August 21st that resulted in six fatalities. The attack, which involved two bomb detonations, occurred in Cali and has prompted increased security measures throughout the city.
A citizen inadvertently captured the events of the attack on video.While filming a panoramic view of the city from a building, the individual continued recording even after the explosions, initially unaware of what had transpired.
