Santa Clara, Calif. – Oct. 1 (UPI) – Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents willโฃ be present at the Super Bowl halftime show featuringโ Badโ Bunny, โaccording โto Homeland Security adviser Corey Lewandowski.
Lewandowski, 52, made the โขclaim โคduringโข an appearance on โข”The Benny โShow” podcast Wednesday,โฃ Theโ Hill reported. Heโ stated that ICE will actively โคseek out โindividuals in the contry illegally.
“There is nowhere that you can provide a safe โhaven to the people โin thisโ country โillegally,” Lewandowski โขsaid. “We will find you. We โwill apprehendโข you. We will put you in a detentionโ facility, and weโค will deport you.”
Lewandowski โpreviously โserved as campaign manager for President Donald Trumpโค inโฃ 2016 and โas a senior adviser in 2020โ and 2024.
The Super Bowl, scheduled for Feb. 8 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., represents the only U.S.โข performance currently scheduled for 2026โ for Bad Bunny,โ whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio. The Puerto Rican artist has won three grammy Awards.
Bad bunny โpreviously announced he woudl limit U.S. performances due toโฃ concerns about potential ICE โraids at his concert venues, Variety reported. โคHe affirmed โthis decision on X, stating โคheโ would perform only “one date in the United States.”
The artist has a โworld tour scheduled from December through July.
