Antalya Man Confesses toโข Ex-Wife’s Death, Claims Loss of Control During Argument
antalya, Turkey – A man is in custody after confessing to the โdeath of his ex-wife, Hanฤฑm Biรงer, in Antalya. The suspect, identified as Hizir Celik, allegedly used a scarf and pillow toโข drown Biรงer following an argument, according to statements made to authorities.
The incident has deeplyโ impactedโค Biรงer’s family, with brothers Recep andโ Resul Biรงer visibly distraught while claiming Celikโค had a history of manipulative behavior โand premeditation. Celik was taken into custody after aโค health check and initial questioning, and the investigation is ongoing, with potential charges โคincluding murder.
Resul Biรงer stated that Celik โขrepeatedly attempted to deceiveโ him and his brother, โclaiming โhe wasโ unable to see their children โคafter the divorce. “Khidr Celik, immediately after the divorceโฆevery time he reaches.โข My brother ‘I can not look atโค the children’โ he said. Every time he was trying to deceive,” Resul Biรงer recounted.
Recep Biรงer alleged the killing was a planned act, stemming from a seven โขto eight-year relationship that ultimately failed. โข”They threw a slander to my brother. No, โขyou betrayed me. He made the murder by โฃplanningโ and made a plan consciously,”โค he stated.
Followingโค an autopsy, Hanฤฑm Biรงer’s body was transported by her brothers and โฃother relatives to โฃVarsak Cemetery in the Kepez district for burial.
Accordingโ to initial reports,Hizir Celik admitted to losing control during a discussion of past issues with Biรงer. Theโฃ couple had separated approximately eightโ months prior and share two sons,โข aged five to โฃseven.
