Beijing – PureblueAI Qinglan, a Chinese artificial intelligence marketing technology firm, has secured several million yuan in an angel funding round led by Vertex China, according to an announcement confirmed by 36Kr. Existing investors Innoangel Fund, Yicun Songling, and 36Kr also participated in the financing.
The newly raised capital will be allocated to product development, technological advancements, expansion of industry partnerships, and overall business growth, the company stated. PureblueAI Qinglan aims to bolster its position in the rapidly evolving field of AI-driven word-of-mouth marketing.
Founded in 2025, PureblueAI Qinglan’s founding team comprises graduates from Tsinghua University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other leading academic institutions. The team members previously held senior positions and technical roles at prominent technology companies including ByteDance and Alibaba.
This angel round follows a seed funding round completed in August 2025, where the company raised over one million yuan led by Innoangel Fund and BlueFocus, with participation from the Tsinghua University Alumni Seed Fund, according to previous reporting.
PureblueAI Qinglan differentiates itself through its self-developed hybrid model architectures, optimization algorithms, and a Digital Employee Platform. The company’s core technology, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), is designed to enhance AI recommendation rates and brand influence for its clients. The firm currently serves a diverse customer base spanning the automotive, finance, internet technology, retail, consumer goods, and healthcare sectors.
Alongside the funding announcement, PureblueAI Qinglan unveiled its AI marketing Digital Employee Platform, mkter.ai, and launched “Mark,” its first AI word-of-mouth marketing Digital Employee. Marketed as an “AI brand recommendation officer,” Mark leverages the company’s GEO model algorithms and a multi-agent architecture to deliver comprehensive, intelligent, and quantifiable marketing services.
Unlike traditional marketing software-as-a-service (SaaS) tools, Mark is designed to manage the entire AI word-of-mouth marketing process, from user intention research and diagnosis to implementation and post-campaign analysis. The platform caters to businesses of all sizes, offering self-service options for smaller companies, customized solutions for larger enterprises, and integration capabilities for marketing service providers. It is currently compatible with major AI platforms including Doubao, DeepSeek, Qianwen, and Yuanbao.
Within the GEO process, Mark offers six core competencies: professional intention research, comprehensive brand analysis, rapid knowledge base creation, accurate result prediction, intelligent platform publication, and real-time result monitoring. These capabilities are intended to enable the platform to learn AI platform recommendation rules, replacing manual processes with automated optimization.
PureblueAI Qinglan’s system continuously analyzes successfully recommended content in AI searches to identify key characteristics and inform its model. This allows the model to understand which content structures and features receive higher credibility and weight on AI platforms, guiding content generation and feedback for clients. For example, when optimizing a search query like “Recommendation of vehicles with hybrid architecture,” the model generates marketing text and calculates the optimal platform combination for publication.
The emergence of GEO as a startup focus has accelerated with the development of platforms like DeepSeek. Recognizing the nascent state of the technology, PureblueAI Qinglan, in collaboration with the China Business Advertising Association and 13 other companies, released the “Chinese Initiative for the Development of the GEO Industry.” Further demonstrating its commitment to industry standards, the company, alongside ten other industry partners including the China Artificial Intelligence Industry Development Alliance (AIIA), signed the “Pledge for Artificial Intelligence Security: Special Measures for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)” in February 2026. PureblueAI Qinglan has also contributed to the development of industry standards such as the “Basic Requirements for the Trustworthiness of GEO Services” through the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.
