Veteran‘s Resume ⁤review at Jonas Brothers‍ Concert Goes Viral, Leads to Job ​Connection

BUFFALO, N.Y. – A man named Scott Kelly became ⁤an overnight internet sensation after a concertgoer filmed​ him‍ having his ⁢resume reviewed by a stranger mid-show at a ‍Jonas⁤ Brothers concert in Buffalo, New York, on November 9. The video⁣ quickly went viral​ on TikTok, sparking a widespread effort⁣ to connect kelly with potential employers.

Kelly explained he initially learned‍ about the circulating⁣ resume from a freind while in class for ⁢his ​master’s degree,⁤ and didn’t believe it was his until he downloaded TikTok and ⁢saw the ⁤video. He later confirmed the authenticity when the ‌man reviewing his resume, identified as Brandon, contacted him ​on Veteran’s Day.

“turns out ⁢he‌ and I were in the same infantry battalion⁢ in the U.S. Army back ‍in‌ 2014 up at Fort Drum,” Kelly said.Despite taking different paths ​after their‌ military service,they both ended up working in Upstate New York.

Kelly revealed on The Tonight Show⁣ starring Jimmy‌ Fallon ‌that he hadn’t actually applied for a position,​ and⁣ that ​brandon⁣ actively seeks to hire veteran ‍talent for ⁢his company in Buffalo. The viral moment, however, has fostered a ⁢connection between the two.

In a surprising twist, Kelly⁢ admitted to the Jonas brothers and ‌their ⁤audience⁣ that he was previously ⁤unfamiliar with their ​music. “I had never heard of you before this,” he ​confessed. “My wife had to tell me. I didn’t ⁤have Disney Channel growing up.I didn’t know!” He quickly added, “I’m‍ a huge fan‌ now. Love you​ guys.”

The Jonas brothers posted a video on their TikTok ⁣account​ featuring⁢ Kelly,singing their song “Backwards” with the caption,”LOUUUDER because we​ found Scott Kelly.”

Cape Cod Mall theater Change Continues with Bill Hanney’s Entertainment Experience

Hyannis, MA – November ‍14, 2025 -⁤ Renovations are well‍ underway at the Cape ⁤Cod Mall movie theater in Hyannis, as owner Bill Hanney prepares to launch ‍”Bill Hanney’s Entertainment ‌Experience.”‌ The project aims to transform the space into a multi-faceted entertainment destination, complete with updated auditoriums, a renovated lobby, and plans for future ⁢additions like fountains and lighting ‌around the adjacent pond.

Hanney, ‍also owner of Entertainment Cinemas, Theater By The Sea, and North Shore‌ Music Theatre, ⁢secured the‍ space after the lease for Regal ‌Cinemas expired. The idea for the project‍ originated during the pandemic shutdowns,⁢ when Hanney envisioned a vibrant gathering place for​ Cape Cod residents and visitors.‍ He intends to bring “big shows” to the ⁤area, creating an⁢ atmosphere reminiscent of Las Vegas.

The renovations include⁣ new⁤ seating in all auditoriums, a redesigned lobby with new carpet, ⁣and the addition of a new bar. Hanney began operating his first theater‌ at the age of ‍19.

“I wanted to do big shows on Cape cod where ⁤I live.I wanted it to be a gathering place, like Las Vegas,” ‍said Hanney, a part-time Brewster resident. “We’re just starting. There’s going to be a lot of things coming.”
