The โMissouri โฃState Public Defender’s office in Jefferson City is accepting โฃapplications for a full-time Administrative Assistant. The โposition supports the local office by managing front desk operations, including answeringโ phones,โฃ greeting clients, and maintaining the trial โขcalendar.
Responsibilities include opening and closing โcase โfiles, coordinating office support services – such asโค budget โtracking, invoice processing, and vendor โdialogue – andโฃ managing office inventory and supplyโ orders. The role also provides clerical support to the District Defender and other staff attorneys, โwith โคpotential โคforโ additional assigned duties.
Candidatesโ should possess one year of professional office โmanagement experience, demonstrated through staff supervision or responsible administrative work, or five years of progressively โคresponsible clerical/office experience. Post-secondary education may be substituted for experience requirements.
