Fluminense in Advanced Talks for Luciano Acosta, Faces MLS Competition

Rio de Janeiro, brazil – August 6, 2025 – Brazilian Sรฉrie A club Fluminense is nearing an agreement to sign 31-year-old Argentine attacking midfielder Luciano Acosta, currently playing for FC Dallas in major League Soccer.Though, a yet-unnamed MLS team is attempting to disrupt the deal, leveraging the potential for Acosta to gain U.S. citizenship and play for the United States national team.
