Wales is continuing to grapple with the aftermath โof Storm Claudia, with a major incident still declared and flood warnings remaining in effect as of Sunday, November 16. South Wales Fire and Rescue Service declared a major incident in the early hours of Saturday morning,and have yet to announce when โit will be stood down.
Teams across Monmouthshire have been working โthrough the night to address the impact ofโ the โflooding and are planning a clean-up operation for Sunday, focusing on Abergavenny, Monmouth,โค and Skenfrith. Street sweepers, jet washers,โ and mobile teams will be deployed to clear debris and โreopen roads as floodwaters recede.
Authorities are urgingโค residents to remain vigilant and adhere to safety guidelines:
