in the song ‘My Show’, his first single, Martรญn Elรญas Jr. states how proud he is to carry on his father’s legacy, being the grandson of Diomedes Dรญaz and expressing the respect he feels for his fans and the support they have given him in his fledgling career.
On his Instagram account, the young singer published a picture of the lyrics of the song, which apparently belong to him:
“โฆI really wanted to follow in my father’s footsteps, as part of the legacy he left me throughout my life. I want to continue their legacy and that is what makes me proudly sing for them with the soul that the whole world knows who I am…“.
Then he says in the chorus and another verse: “โฆ Grandson of Diomedes Dรญaz, God bless that singer and the great Martin Elรญas, I am his eldest heir. I am very happy to introduce myself, I am Martรญn Elรญa Dรญaz Varรณn, for me it is a great honor to show myself to you with my singing. “And I want to identify with the original vallenato, showing myself in each song, verse by verse, what I am.”.
