Turkish pop music icon Nazan Öncel has released her new song, “Vertigo,” which she wrote while recovering in the hospital following a heart attack last May. The 69-year-old singer’s latest release comes as fans express concern after she was rushed to the hospital early this morning due to high pulse and blood pressure.

Hospitalization Details Emerge

Nazan Öncel’s advisor, Yağız Yılmaz, shared an update on her condition, posting a photo of the singer from the hospital. Yılmaz confirmed that Öncel, who had two stents placed in May after an angiogram, experienced an emergency situation at 4:30 AM.

“What more should I do for this heart? I did whatever he wanted; I said walk, I walked, diet said I did, I said I drank plenty of water, said the stent said thank you thank you; It doesn’t happen without it, so pray,” Öncel conveyed to her fans through her advisor, reflecting on her health journey.

The exact discharge date for the acclaimed singer remains uncertain as her health status is being stabilized.
