Dynamo Dresden coach Stamm: โ€œBern is not an issueโ€ | sport

Awkward! Third division team Dynamo Dresden lost 1:3 in the Saxony Cup after extra time at fourth division team Chemnitzer FC. There is speculation about coach Thomas Stamm (41).

As the โ€œSchaffhauser Nachrichtenโ€ reports, Stamm is considered a possible successor to the fired Patrick Frame at Young Boys Bern.

The reigning Swiss champions parted ways with Frame after a disastrous start to the season with just six points from the first nine games. Especially since the club has so far remained pointless and goalless in the Champions League.

Fishermen are also an issue

U21 coach Joรซl Magnin will take over on an interim basis until the winter break, after which a new coach will be presented. In addition to Stamm, ex-Union coach Urs Fischer should also be an issue.

However, Stamm himself clearly rejected a possible move to Bern.

โ€œWe had contact in the summer about a player we were interested in,โ€ he explained after the cup exit in Chemnitz. โ€œSince then there has been no conversation or contact. That’s why it’s not an issue. I canโ€™t put it any clearer than that.โ€

About the game: Dresden with five changes in the starting eleven. Captain and Sapina are not there at all and are spared.

Aljaz Casar (l.) gave Dynamo the lead, but had to go out shortly afterwards with his nose demolished

After great preparatory work by MeiรŸner and Sterner, Casar puts the Dynamos in the lead with a flare from 14 meters into the left corner (21st). It is the first competitive goal for the defender, who came from Halle in the summer.

Bitter, however: Shortly afterwards it was over for the goalscorer; after a collision with teammate Menzel, Casar had to go out with a badly bleeding nose.

Erlbeck (31) equalized before the break. Dresden’s substitute keeper Mesenhรถler doesn’t look happy and can’t hold on to the ball after a corner. The visitors’ defense also didn’t seem confident when trying to play short passes.

After the break the game was very disjointed and had few chances, but it was exciting. A class difference cannot really be seen in front of 10,000 spectators. Logical consequence: extension.

CFC substitute Eppendorfer came up trumps, shooting the underdog 2-1 in front with a backheel trick (103′).

Six minutes before the end of extra time, Chemnitz Fischer sealed the embarrassing end for last season’s disappointing Saxony Cup winners with a 3-1 win.

Coach Stamm: โ€œIn terms of duels, conviction and will, it was particularly disappointing in extra time. It must not happen to us that Chemnitz wanted to progress any more…โ€

SC Verl: Regional league striker scores twice – big defeat against Bundesliga club

SC Verl met a challenging opponent for a test on Thursday. Ultimately, Borussia Mรถnchengladbach was a few sizes too big.

That’s how it turned out SC Verl His test match against Bundesliga club Borussia Mรถnchengladbach was certainly not presented. The third division club suffered a bitter 0:5 (0:3) defeat against the foals.

Borussia had a few players from the front row on the pitch, some of whom were supposed to make an appearance. However, Shio Fukuda, who is normally used in the Foals’ regional league team, made the start. With an assist from Robin Hack, the offensive man took the early Foal lead.

It was also Hack who assisted Alassane Plea in the 34th minute. Plea is from the mentioned first guard and took off from the rotation. Philipp Schulze in the SC Verl goal couldn’t get to it – 0:2.

Before the break, Florian Neuhaus – this time on an assist from Plea – made it 3-0 for the guests (40th). After the break, things continued bitterly for Verl – Fukuda followed up. At first he failed, then he pushed the ball over the line while sitting (52′). Three minutes later, Noah Pesch made it 5-0. After being presented by Neuhaus, he flicked the ball into the left corner (55′).

The Gladbachers gained a little self-confidence after a weak start to the season and the recent 1:2 in the league at FC Augsburg. Verl, on the other hand, was able to recently win again after four games.

Berkan Taz and Eduard Probst hit the net and ensured a 2-0 win for the Verler against the Unterhaching game association, which has been waiting for a three-pointer for five matches.

“I’m really happy for the boys. Similar to the last few weeks, we played well and created chances to score. A bit of dรฉjร  vu at the beginning, which then goes out from the inside post, just wide of the goal. And then you struggle again “It was very, very important that we kept the zero,” said a relieved Alexander Ende, coach of SC Verl, in an interview with “Magenta Sport”.

This victory was probably much more important to him than the defeat against Borussia Mรถnchengladbach.

This is how the teams played:

SC Verl P. Schulze – Scholze, Gruber, F. Otto, Kijewski – Stark, Gayret, Baack, Taz – Kyeremateng, Onuoha

Living. Monchengladbach

Sippel – Lainer, Friedrich, Weigl, Atty – Sander, Neuhaus, Herrmann, Plea, Hack – Fukuda

3rd League: Coach suspended until the end of October – penalty for Dresden, injured in Ingolstad

The 3rd league is also holding its breath for a moment and, like the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga, is in the international break. And yet there is interesting news to report.

Bitter verdict for Marc Unterberger, the coach of the Unterhaching game association. The 35-year-old was shown a red card on September 27th after a zero against SV Sandhausen.

Now it is clear: the aspiring football teacher was fined 3,000 euros and banned from watching three games. Since he has already sat out one game – in Verl – he only has to watch twice.

Unterberger will miss the derby against 1860 Munich (October 20) and the duel against Alemannia Aachen (October 23). He can then be on the sidelines again against Viktoria Cologne (October 26th).

After the red card, he told “Magenta Sport”: “I have to take a look at myself. You can’t criticize the referee on Tuesday in Rostock and then get a yellow card and then a red card – justified or unjustified doesn’t matter . It shouldn’t happen to you, I’m sorry for the derailments.”

Not only Coach Unterberger was punished, but also three clubs. The sports court of the German Football Association (DFB) has asked Dynamo Dresden, SpVgg Unterhaching, Erzgebirge Aue and 1860 Munich to pay due to misconduct by their fans. Dresden has to transfer 35,250 euros, Aue 10,850 and Unterhaching 3,100 euros to the DFB’s Frankfurt bank account.

Two injured at FC Ingolstadt

Meanwhile, FC Ingolstadt has to cope with two painful pieces of news at the start of the international break: Ryan Malone sustained a knee injury in a challenge in stoppage time against Alemannia Aachen and had to leave the field.

The central defender, who already has six assists this season, will undergo surgery in the next few days and will therefore be absent from FCI for the long term. Attacker Tim Heike will also not be available to the Black and Reds in the coming weeks. The 24-year-old striker, who came from Energie Cottbus in the summer, is currently out with a calf injury.

TSV 1860 Munich: Dark clouds over Giesing’s heights

by Chief editor of world-today-news.com

TSV 1860 Munich is in crisis: only one win in five games – the rest were defeats. In the Bavarian State Cup, the Sechzer team were just able to avoid a disgrace against FC Memmingen. The brief resurgence at FC Ingolstadt with a 2:1 victory did not bring the hoped-for turnaround. In short: the situation in Giesing is precarious, coach Argirios Giannikis seems to be on the ropes – even if sports director Christian Werner defended the coach after the 2:3 defeat against Dynamo Dresden.

The fourth defeat in five games was close – a point would have been deserved at least because of the pressure phase towards the end of the game. The otherwise critical Lรถwen fans also saw it that way. In the stands of the Grรผnwalder Stadium – unlike in the previous games – there were no whistles or calls for the coach to be out.

Squad restructuring has not worked so far

Unlike in previous years, the 1860 bosses avoided setting sporting goals at the start of the season. No one spoke of promotion – like in previous years. “That’s why I’m looking at day-to-day life and want to develop the team further. It’s certainly not the time to build castles in the air,” said the coach, urging patience and hard work with the completely renewed team.

But the change hasn’t worked so far – there’s a lack of shots on goal up front, and the defense is too porous: The Lions have conceded eleven goals so far, more than any other third division team. Julian Guttau, who scored the 2:3 goal on Saturday, summed it up after the Stuttgart II game: “As a collective, we weren’t good enough. If we put in that kind of balls at the back, we won’t win a game in this league. That just pisses me off.”

1860 coach Giannikis: “Everyone is pulling together”

Only three points after five match days – TSV 1860 is in the middle of a relegation battle. It is questionable how long Giannikis will continue to have support – the 44-year-old’s record does not speak in his favour: he has only won three of the last 16 games, and the last five home games have all been lost. The coach himself denies a possible ultimatum: “I have not heard anything, what is being said internally is important to me. Christian Werner said that calm is important. I have the feeling that everyone internally is pulling together.”

Giannikis has been in office since January 10th. His start could not have been better. TSV remained unbeaten in the first eight games (five wins, three draws). During this time, Giannikis was one of the most successful coaches in Europe. The four defeats that followed quickly brought Sechzig back down to earth. In the end, they managed to stay in the league in 15th place.

On Saturday, the traditional club will be guests at Arminia Bielefeld (4.30 p.m., live ticker)Is the game on the Alm a final for Giannikis despite the public support of the club’s management?

BR24Sport reporter Eckl: “The club currently has no perspective”

As part of the Bayern 1 program “Heute im Stadion” we want to know: What is the reason for the sporting misery? What is the way out? Florian Eckl, 1860 expert at BR24Sport, sees other reasons for the Lions’ current situation. He also blames the extreme influence of the active fan scene and the dissatisfied investor Hasan Ismaik, among others. In his opinion, the Sechzger are stumbling towards the Regionalliga. His conclusion: “The club currently has no prospects!”

The question of the week:

Frustration instead of confidence: Is TSV 1860 Munich in free fall towards the Regionalliga?

Simply join in the conversation in the comments below or on Facebook at BR24 Sport. We will broadcast selected comments in “Today in the Stadium” on Saturday, September 21st, from 3:05 p.m. on Bayern 1.

3rd League: Number one injured! SV Sandhausen signs former Fortuna Dรผsseldorf goalkeeper

SV Sandhausen has reacted to the injury of its number one and signed a new goalkeeper.

Niko Rehnen will be SV Sandhausen will be out for a long time. The number one of the third division team has injured his meniscus and needs surgery.

Sandhausen reacted to Rehnen’s injury and signed Dennis Gorka, who was out of a club. The 22-year-old goalkeeper was most recently under contract with Fortuna Dรผsseldorf and also presented himself to Alemannia Aachen this summer. But the Kaiserstรคdter decided not to sign him. Now Gorka has landed in the 3rd division.

“We were able to react quickly to Niko’s absence and remain capable of acting in the goalkeeping team. With Dennis we get a young and ambitious goalkeeper who has been trained at the highest level,” explained sports director Matthias Imhof. Last season, Gorka played 15 times for Fortuna Dรผsseldorf’s regional league team.

“With Dennis, we have chosen a young goalkeeper who has received excellent training and has been able to work at the highest level with the Fortuna Dรผsseldorf pros and also get a taste of professional football. I see great potential in him and am sure that he will fit in perfectly with our goalkeeping team!” says SVS goalkeeping coach Daniel Ischdonat.

Dennis Gorka is after Emmanuel Iwe, Jeremias Lorch, Dominic Baumann, Lucas Wolf, Niklas Lang, Jakob Lewald, Marco Schikora, Besar Halimi, Luis Idjakovic, Stanislav Fehler and Niklas Kreuzer and Jonas Carls the 13th newcomer for the 2024/25 season.

Gorka, who was born in Cologne, joined Fortuna Cologne’s youth team after starting out at SC Borussia Lindenthal-Hohenlind for the 2016/17 season, before moving to the youth performance center of second division club Fortuna Dรผsseldorf a year later. There, Gorka went through all the youth teams and made the jump to the professional squad for the 2020/21 season. Until his contract expired at the end of last season, the goalkeeper was in the professional squad on a few occasions but without playing. Instead, he made 61 regional league appearances for the regional league team, in which he kept a clean sheet 16 times.

“This door has now opened for me, which is why I want to take advantage of this opportunity and am very grateful to the club for it. Of course, I know that the circumstances of my commitment are unfortunately not ideal, as it came about due to an injury,” explained the 1.91 meter tall new signing between the posts.
