HOUSTON, Texas – The Houston Police Department โis seeking two suspects wanted in connection with a pair of robberies in southwest Houston, including an August purse snatchingโค caughtโ on surveillance video. Breonโ Twine, 23, and Larry Wiley, 23, haveโค both beenโค charged with robbery with bodily injury.
investigators โขsay the pair are linked to a robbery that occurredโ on Saturday, August โ23, at a shopping center in the 4700 block of Beechnut Street around 10 p.m. Surveillance footage shows a woman being forcibly robbed of her purse as she walked to her car, falling to the ground โduring a struggle with โthe suspect before he fled in a white Toyota Camry. The suspects are also under inquiry for a separate robbery at โtheโ same location.
Following the initial incident,tipsโค led police to identify Twine and โคWiley. Court documents indicate the suspects allegedly โused the victim’s credit card at a SunMart gas station on Cullen Boulevard. The white Toyota Camry involved is registered to Twine’s girlfriend, according to police.
