The Fubon Angels, the cheerleading squad for Taiwan’s Fubon Guardians baseball team, recently launched a new single, “VICTORY,” and simultaneously generated significant public attention through promotional appearances featuring revealing outfits.
Images and reports circulating online detail members of the 23-person squad wearing extremely short tops and outfits with midriff-baring designs. One report specifically noted a member’s outfit revealing a portion of her midriff when she bent over, prompting a playful response from the performer, asking onlookers if they had noticed.
The release of “VICTORY” and the associated promotional activities are part of a broader effort to increase the Fubon Angels’ visibility. The song, described as upbeat and energetic, was created with the assistance of an international production team and incorporates elements of Taipei’s urban landscape. The track was first performed publicly after a Fubon Guardians game at the Taipei Dome on September 20, 2025, according to reports.
The Fubon Guardians themselves were established in November 2016, entering Taiwan’s Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) with the stated goal of supporting the growth of baseball in Taiwan. The team’s name, “Guardians,” is intended to reflect the protective and steadfast values of its parent company, Fubon Financial Holding.
The Fubon Angels’ new single and promotional appearances are being widely distributed through online platforms, including the Taiwanese entertainment platform 4gTV and the squad’s official YouTube channel. 4gTV offers a range of Taiwanese television and streaming content, including sports coverage and entertainment programming.
