Jimin: 8 Billion Spotify Streams & K-Pop Ranking

by Dr. Michael Lee – Health Editor February 14, 2026

BTS member Jimin has surpassed 8 billion total streams on his personal Spotify profile, solidifying his position as a leading force in global music consumption. The milestone, achieved with a total of 34 tracks, was confirmed on February 14, 2026, according to data released by Spotify and reported by multiple outlets including STARNEWS Korea and Kstartrend.

With this achievement, Jimin ranks as the seventh most-streamed Korean artist overall on the platform and, notably, the second most-streamed Korean solo artist. A significant portion of his success stems from his individual work; 22 of his tracks are pure solo releases – songs without collaborations – and collectively account for over 6.5 billion of those 8 billion streams. This represents the first time a K-pop solo artist has surpassed the 6.5 billion stream threshold with non-collaboration songs.

“Who,” released during Jimin’s mandatory military service, currently leads his streaming numbers with 2.284 billion streams. The track notably charted on the Billboard Hot 100 for 33 weeks. “Like Crazy,” which made history as the first K-pop solo song to reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100, has exceeded 1.42 billion streams. Despite being released while Jimin was fulfilling his military obligations, “Who” continues to demonstrate remarkable staying power, ranking at No. 57 on the Spotify Global Chart as of February 11, 2026, and maintaining a presence on the chart for an impressive 573 consecutive days.

Recent reports, yet, indicate potential discrepancies in streaming data related to “Who.” A viral post on the Korean community site TheQoo and widely shared on X (formerly Twitter) alleges that “Who” is the first song on Spotify to experience a substantial stream deduction, with a total loss of 175.8 million streams between November 30, 2024, and May 1, 2025. The accuracy of these claims remains unconfirmed by Spotify.

Jimin is currently preparing for the return of BTS with their full album, “ARIRANG,” following a period of individual activities and military service. The group concluded filming overseas for the album recently, and anticipation is building for their comeback. Seoul City has officially sponsored the BTS comeback concert, scheduled to be held at Gwanghwamun Square.
