A charity concert was held in the House of Culture in Belovo, Russia, as part of a larger fundraising marathon, according to a report from the “Kolos” newspaper.
The event featured performances by Viktor Suganov and Regina Kuznetsova, who played songs from the 1980s and 1990s, as well as pieces dedicated to participants in the Special Military Operation (SVO). The newspaper report did not specify the total amount raised.
Similar charitable marathons have been taking place across Russia. On September 20th, a charity marathon “We are Together” was held at the “Kolos” Culture House, intended to support those participating in the SVO. Another event, the III Charitable Creative Marathon “WE TOGETHER!”, took place on February 24th in the “Bolshhevik” Palace of Culture in Volsk, with proceeds similarly earmarked for supporting local military personnel involved in the SVO.
A marathon was also held in Uysk, drawing representatives from the district administration, enterprise leaders, veterans, young people and children facing hardship. The funds raised from these events are intended to provide necessary supplies to Russian soldiers participating in the SVO.
