In Deurne, the Makro branch was closed at least temporarily on the last evening after a dispute between customers over one of the few items still there. “If you organize a closure like this, it is to be expected that there will be a fight over the last few articles, in this case literally,” sighs union secretary Erik Dirckx of the Bond Bedienden Technici en Kaders (BBTK) at the ABVV.
