Suske en wiske Fans anticipate January 2026 Release of Landmark Two-Color Series Collection
Brussels, Belgium – A comprehensive, two-volume collection of the original flemish two-color Suske en Wiske albums is slated for release in January 2026, offering fans a rare opportunity to revisit the series’ earliest iterations. Published by the Flemish weekly Knack to commemorate the eightieth anniversary of the iconic comic, the set comprises all twenty-two stories as they initially appeared in two-color printing – many featuring text differing from later Dutch editions.
This release marks a significant moment for Suske en Wiske enthusiasts, as the stories will be presented in their original album order, diverging from the non-chronological publication sequence established beginning in 1959. Each 624-page volume includes a six-page dossier detailing the unique printing techniques employed and providing further background on these special editions. The covers of both collections are personally signed by artist Dirk Stallaert.
Available exclusively through comic book stores in Flanders and the Netherlands, the complete set is offered in a limited-edition printed collector’s box – imagery of which is currently unavailable. The set is priced at €125 and pre-ordering through participating comic book stores is strongly recommended.
