Suburban Propane Expands NASCAR Partnership to 21 Tracks Nationwide
Suburban Propane’s partnership with NASCAR has expanded to encompass 21 racetracks nationwide, the company announced Tuesday, adding events at the U.S. Naval Base in Coronado, California, and Chicagoland Speedway to its portfolio of sponsorships.
The expanded collaboration will see Suburban Propane continue to provide critical behind-the-scenes support for NASCAR race weekends, including fueling track dryers used to maintain racing schedules during inclement weather, supplying concessions for fans, and powering campgrounds, according to a company press release.
“The opportunity to support NASCAR at more than twenty tracks nationwide reflects both the strength of our partnership and the reliability that propane can bring to large-scale events,” said Nandini Sankara, VP of Marketing & Brand Strategy and Spokesperson for Suburban Propane. “From drying the track to fueling concessions and campgrounds, propane helps ensure that race weekends run safely, efficiently, and without interruption.”
The event at the U.S. Naval Base in Coronado is part of NASCAR’s participation in the celebrations surrounding America’s 250th anniversary, marking a unique event by bringing racing to a waterfront military installation. Suburban Propane’s involvement extends to supporting operations and fan engagement at the returning Chicagoland Speedway, the company stated.
Suburban Propane Partners, L.P., headquartered in Whippany, New Jersey, has been distributing propane and related products and services since 1928. The company currently serves approximately 1 million residential, commercial, governmental, industrial, and agricultural customers across 42 states, operating approximately 750 locations. The company too markets natural gas and electricity and invests in low carbon fuel alternatives.
Suburban Propane emphasizes three core pillars in its operations: a commitment to excellence in customer service, dedication to community engagement through its SuburbanCares initiative, and a focus on promoting propane and renewable propane as low-carbon energy solutions through its Go Green with Suburban Propane program.
