Subaru Reveals Limited WRX GD25 and BRZ ZC15 Anniversary Editions
Subaru debuted two limited-production anniversary editions, the 2027 WRX GD25 and the 2027 BRZ ZC15, at the Boxerfest 2026 event held in York, Pennsylvania. Subaru of America announced that production will be capped at 350 units for the WRX and 300 units for the BRZ, drawing their nomenclature from the chassis codes of the first generations introduced to the United States market.
WRX GD25 Honors Quarter-Century Milestone
Marking 25 years since the WRX arrived in the U.S. in 2002, the WRX GD25 references the original “GD” chassis code. The model is finished exclusively in World Rally Blue, paired with 19-inch gold-painted wheels, gold-caliper Brembo brakes, and Bridgestone Potenza S007 tires. The rear features a carbon-fiber wing mounted on swan-neck supports, sharing the exact component used on the WRX ARA25L rally car driven by Travis Pastrana. Underneath, the vehicle incorporates a flexible tower stiffener, firmer springs, and retuned dampers. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.4-liter flat-four engine generating 271 horsepower, channeled through a six-speed manual transmission equipped with an STI short-throw shifter. Inside, the cabin features Recaro seats upholstered in black Ultrasuede with red stitching. Subaru schedules U.S. deliveries for the summer of 2027.

BRZ ZC15 Celebrates Fifteen-Year Run
The BRZ ZC15 commemorates 15 years of the sports car in the American market, taking its designation from the “ZC” code of the original 2012 model. This edition introduces a Ceramic White exterior finish complemented by matte bronze wheels and gold Brembo brake calipers, a color scheme Subaru notes mirrors the 2020 BRZ tS. Additional exterior elements include bronze lower door graphics, a black trunk-mounted spoiler, and a V-shaped flexible draw stiffener mounted beneath the hood. The interior pairs black upholstery with burgundy sections, an STI short-throw shifter, and a designated “ZC15” plaque. Mechanically, the car retains a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter flat-four engine producing 228 horsepower, routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission offered exclusively on this trim. Deliveries are slated to begin in early 2027. Subaru has not confirmed Canadian pricing or availability for either anniversary model.
