Stukken Van Mensen: Housewife Kiki & Art Feature | News Roundup

February 21, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

Antwerp housewife Kiki Rom Colthoff brought a Louis Vuitton Lobster handbag to the set of the Belgian television program “Stukken van Mensen” (Pieces of People) on Saturday, sparking visible tension among the art dealers present, according to reports.

Colthoff, known for her appearances on “The Real Housewives of Antwerp,” presented the handbag, a limited-edition item from 2025 of which only 15 exist in Europe and just two in Belgium, with the intention of securing the highest possible price. “I think we all four are interested, and I certainly am,” Colthoff stated, as reported by Play.tv.

The atmosphere was noted by dealer Bie, who observed that two of the men present, Frank and Carlo, appeared “enormously nervous” during the presentation. Carlo himself was described as looking “lightly nervous.”

The episode also featured a work by Panamarenko, created in 1998 in collaboration with Ronny Van de Velde, the father of dealer Sofie Van de Velde. Van de Velde was present when the artwork, depicting a solar eclipse, was created and presented a photograph from her phone as proof. Her father and Panamarenko had captured images of the eclipse while in a French field.

In addition to the handbag and the Panamarenko piece, the dealers were also presented with a jersey belonging to Belgian cyclist Wout van Aert. Evy Gruyaert is the host of “Stukken van Mensen.”

The program, which airs on Play4, focuses on art dealers attempting to acquire unique items. The outcome of the sale of the Louis Vuitton Lobster handbag, and whether Sofie Van de Velde will be able to purchase the work created by her father and Panamarenko, remains to be seen.
