No Florida Stimulus or Inflation Checks expected in‍ 2025,trump Considers Federal Rebates

October 16,2025 – Florida residents will not receive state-issued stimulus or ‌inflation ⁣relief checks in 2025. While numerous ⁢states have distributed funds to⁣ offset rising costs, Florida is not ⁢among them. Though, former⁤ President⁤ Donald Trump⁢ has discussed potential federal rebates‌ linked to new ⁤tariffs.

Trump has proposed utilizing revenue generated from newly implemented tariffs to provide rebates to taxpayers, though specifics remain limited. ⁣In February, he ‍suggested a potential $5,000⁢ stimulus ‍payment, dubbed a “DOGE dividend,”⁤ funded by 20% of savings identified by‌ billionaire Elon Musk’s proposed⁤ Department of Government ⁤Efficiency (DOGE). No further details regarding the “DOGE dividend” have ‍been⁤ released since that proclamation.

Currently, individuals who have filed their 2025 federal taxes electronically with direct deposit details can expect a refund ⁤within 21 days of⁢ IRS acceptance. Paper checks are estimated ‍to arrive within six⁣ to eight weeks.‍ The IRS’s “Where’s My Refund” tool (https://www.irs.gov/wheres-my-refund) allows taxpayers ⁢to track their refund status online using their Social⁢ Security number, ⁣filing status, and exact refund‌ amount. The IRS can also be contacted at 800-829-1954 for refund inquiries. Refund status is typically updated daily on the IRS website.
