Star Wars Comics: June 2026 Solicitations – Marvel & Dark Horse
Marvel and Dark Horse Comics are attempting to fill the void left by the conclusion of animated series and the pause in theatrical releases with a June 2026 slate of Star Wars comics, though the offerings are less extensive than in recent years. New titles and continuing series will include tie-ins to Rogue One, the Galaxy’s Edge theme park experience, and further exploration of Darth Maul’s story, alongside a connecting variant cover series for Pride Month.
A four-issue comic book miniseries, Rogue One – Jyn Erso #1, is scheduled for release on June 3, written by Ethan Sacks with art by Ramon Rosanas. The comic will focus on Jyn Erso’s experiences on the planet Wobani, expanding on events previously depicted in the novel Rebel Rising. According to the solicitation, the story will follow Jyn as she attempts an escape from Imperial security forces with a crew of unlikely allies.
The Shadow of Maul series will continue with its fourth issue on June 10, penned by Benjamin Percy and illustrated by Madibek Musabekov. This installment introduces a podracing element to the narrative, centering on a competition called the STAR GAUNTLET and a gambling conspiracy that draws the attention of Darth Maul. The first issue of Shadow of Maul has been described as moody and intriguing, and follows the conclusion of the animated series Maul: Shadow Lord.
Ethan Sacks will also contribute to the Galaxy’s Edge: Echoes of the Empire series, with issue #3 arriving on June 24, featuring art by Jethro Morales and Roi Mercado. This issue will depict a battle between Darth Vader and a droid force, while Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Chewbacca, C-3PO, and R2-D2 attempt to escape Imperial forces. The comic is a tie-in to the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge land at Disneyland.
On the Dark Horse side, The High Republic Adventures – Pathfinders #3 is set for release on June 17, written by George Mann with art by Partha Pratim and Jagdish Kumar. This series, set 20 years after the conclusion of Phase II of The High Republic, follows the Pathfinder team as they investigate a series of murders on the frozen planet Bathoris. The first issue of the series is expected to feature a casualty among the Jedi.
June’s Pride Month variant covers will feature a connecting design by Rickie Yagawa, mirroring the format used for the Black History Month variants earlier in 2026. The creative team behind the variant covers remains undisclosed.
