Organizers built the schedule around youth engagement and community storytelling. Families can attend interactive book signings, jazz storytime sessions, and specialized poetry workshops designed for younger writers.

Featured Authors and Cultural Partners Supporting the Event

The 2026 lineup brings prominent creators to St. Petersburg, including acclaimed author Carole Boston Weatherford and illustrator R. Gregory Christie, whose Caldecott Honors and multiple Coretta Scott King recognitions highlight the event.
