Springboks & Women’s Rugby Fixtures 2026: Confirmed Dates & Schedule
The Springboks will face England, Scotland, and Wales in a three-match series at home in July 2026, as South Africa prepares for a busy international rugby schedule. The matches, confirmed by multiple sources, will take place at Ellis Park in Johannesburg, Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria, and Hollywoodbets Kings Park in Durban, respectively.
The July series is a significant shift for the Springboks, coming in a year when the Rugby Championship is taking a break. Instead, South Africa will host the All Blacks for a series of test matches in August and September, including a match at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland on September 12th, marking a major push to grow the sport’s presence in the United States. This “Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry” series will as well be played at Ellis Park and DHL Stadium in Cape Town.
The Springboks will also participate in the Nations Championship in July, facing England, Scotland, and Wales in succession. Later in the year, in November, they are scheduled to play France, with the venue yet to be determined. England will also face Recent Zealand at Twickenham on November 21st.
The Springbok Women are also set for a busy 2026, building on their successful 2025 Rugby World Cup campaign, where they reached the quarter-finals for the first time. They will begin with a two-test series against the USA in July, playing matches at Ellis Park and Loftus Versfeld. In September, they will face the Black Ferns at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
Siya Kolisi, the Springboks captain, is expected to continue leading the team through these fixtures. The schedule represents a key period for South Africa as they prepare for future international competitions.
