Sports Industry Shorts: Seat Unique, Middlesex Cricket & Liverpool Basketball
Seat Unique has renewed its partnership with London Stadium for another year following a five-fold increase in hospitality sales during the venue’s 2026 summer concert programme. The agreement follows major events including Take That’s three-night Circus Live residency and Metallica’s M72 World Tour, supporting the stadium’s push to expand its annual concert cap and increase live entertainment capacity.
The commercial relationship between Seat Unique and London Stadium, which began in early 2025, focuses heavily on premium package development, dynamic pricing adjustments, and capital investment into hospitality suites. Gary Bell, Commercial Director at London Stadium, noted that the growth speaks for itself, citing the record-breaking M72 World Tour and how a great premium offering can enhance the fan experience and drive demand.
As London Stadium applies to elevate its concert allowance from 10 to 24 events per year while targeting an 85,000-capacity ceiling for major tours, the venue requires sophisticated logistical support.

Tony Davison, Co-founder of RightsHub.io, pointed to the ongoing industry transformation in how sporting entities handle digital properties. By implementing dedicated rights management technology, county cricket clubs can optimize sponsorship assets and safeguard intellectual property without relying on fragmented manual oversight.
