Buffalo Bills right tackle Spencer Brown sustained a shoulder injury during the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans, briefly exiting the game for evaluation. Brown was examined by medical staff in the sideline medical tent and subsequently tested his strength with athletic trainers before returning to the field.
Although cleared to continue playing, Brown appeared limited, struggling to fully extend his right arm while blocking and visibly laboring between series. The Texans’ defense exploited the situation, generating pressure that forced quarterback Josh Allen to scramble.Ryan Van Demark replaced Brown for Buffalo’s final offensive series.
Brown previously missed Week 4 due to a calf injury. Prior to that, he had been a consistent presence on the Bills’ offensive line this season. If Brown is unable to finish the game, the Bills face potential line-up adjustments, though depth option Chase Lundt was a healthy scratch for this contest.
