Spencer Brown Injury: Bills Tackle Struggles Against Texans

by David Harrison – Chief Editor

Buffalo Bills right tackle Spencer Brown ⁢sustained a‍ shoulder injury during⁢ the ⁤third quarter of Sunday’s game against ⁢the Houston Texans, briefly exiting the ‍game for‌ evaluation. Brown was examined by‍ medical staff in⁢ the ⁤sideline medical tent and subsequently tested his strength with ⁢athletic trainers before returning to the ⁤field.

Although cleared to continue playing, Brown appeared limited, struggling to⁢ fully ⁣extend‌ his right ‌arm while blocking and⁣ visibly laboring ⁣between ⁢series. The Texans’ defense exploited the⁣ situation, generating‌ pressure that forced quarterback ⁤Josh Allen to scramble.Ryan ⁣Van Demark replaced Brown for Buffalo’s final offensive series.

Brown previously missed Week 4 due to⁤ a calf injury. Prior to ⁢that, he had been a consistent presence on the Bills’ offensive line this season. If Brown is unable to finish the game, the Bills face potential line-up adjustments, though depth option Chase‌ Lundt was a healthy scratch for this contest.
