Speeding Scandal: Norwegian Police Crack Down on 132 km/h Driver on Langnes Road
A driver was apprehended by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration’s traffic police (Utrykningspolitiet, or UP) after being clocked at a speed of 132 km/h in a zone restricted to 80 km/h. The incident occurred at Langnes.
The stop was part of a routine traffic enforcement operation conducted by the unit. Following the measurement, the driver’s license was confiscated on the spot. In addition to the loss of driving privileges, the motorist faces a formal investigation regarding the violation of local traffic regulations.
