Southern Trust IT Outage: Health Minister Expresses Regret

Northern Ireland Health Trust Hit by IT ⁢Outage, 1,600 appointments Postponed

Belfast, Northern‌ ireland – A significant​ IT ⁣outage within the Southern Health and ⁤Social Care ‌Trust (SHSCT) has led to the postponement‍ of approximately 1,600 patient appointments across multiple services, including⁣ acute, elective, mental health, and children’s care. The disruption, which began on Wednesday, prompted the declaration of a “major incident” at facilities like Craigavon and Daisy Hill hospitals, with ‍patients advised against attending scheduled appointments.
